My boss let me play with his ukulele for a few nights (unfortunately, that's not code for anything). So, with the time I had to fiddle with it, I taught myself how to play "Aquatic Ambience" from Donkey Kong Country for SNES. I recorded the back rhythm track, then recorded this over it. The quality is poor, but twas all I had.

This is another favorite song of mine featuring Mr. Ben Lopez on vocals.

Listening to it now, I realize my D might sound a little dumpy.

(insert mildly racist hand gesture here) Dump Deez.

It was a really simple song, but I've always enjoyed the melody

and I figured, "Hey! Here's a chance to lull the crowd to sleep!"

I think this was the first song I ever played in front of people.

This is an acoustic cover of "Jealous Guy" by John Lennon.

This is a song called, "Kalopsia" off Queens of the Stone Age's album titled, "...Like Clockwork".

It features my sister, Mallory Ortega, on lead guitar

and is probably one of my favorite recordings of her and I.

Unfortunately, my video editing skills are not good enough to have added the vocal harmony,

but if you're familiar with the song, you're encouraged to sing along.

This is the acoustic version of "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away" by the Deftones.

Slow, downer songs get black and white filters, ya dig?

So I'm not the greatest whistler...

A favorite of mine. I intend to learn "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin, as well. Stay tuned.

Gosh my face is round. Just a big, round, white thing. Unfortunately, I've since forgotten how to play this neat little tune, but when I was performing live, Nancy Sinatra was a go-to favorite.
